Insurance and Third Party Schemes

We have a long history of dealing with private health insurance, TAC, WorkCover, NDIS, Medicare Chronic Disease Management plans and other third parties.

We are able to accommodate most third party and insurance arrangements.

  • Private Health Insurance

We have Hicaps for on the spot insurance claiming. You will need your membership card on the day to be able to do this. We are unable to backdate claims and it must be in your name.  PHI providers may ask for proof and do audit claims.

  • TAC

We claim TAC payments through lantern pay. There is no payment required on the day for Physiotherapy and no out of pocket gap fee for services. There may be payment required for bracing or products if required.

  • WorkSafe

For a worksafe claim, you are required to pay for the full cost of the appointment on the day, and then you can claim back the rebate from the insurer on invoice. There will be an out-of-pocket gap fee for subsequent appointments, the first appointment is fully covered in most circumstances.

We are able in some circumstances to provide subsequent certificates, but not the initial certificate of capacity.

  • NDIS

We see NDIS plan-managed and self-managed participants for a wide variety of rehabilitation needs. We collaborate with other health professionals and support workers to assist you as best we can. You will be required to sign a service agreement every twelve months. If you would like more information or a copy of the service agreement, please contact our clinic.

  • Medicare

You are required to pay the full cost of your appointment upfront, then you will need your Medicare card for the rebate to be paid back into your account. You are required to have a bank card with EFTPOS, Cheque or savings NOT on credit, for the rebate.

If you are unable to claim through this process, you are able to do it online on the Medicare portal or we also have paper forms in the clinic, just ask our friendly staff.

  • Department of Veterans Affairs

We are able to process DVA claims on your behalf. You need a DVA-specific referral from your GP to be able to claim DVA services. Please note- it must be the correct form, not a normal referral.
