
Hand therapy is a specialized form of rehabilitation focused on the treatment of conditions affecting the fingers, hands, wrists and elbows. Whether you're recovering from surgery, bone, ligament or tendon injury, or managing a chronic condition like arthritis or carpal tunnel syndrome, hand therapy helps restore function, reduce pain, and improve strength and mobility, as well as prevent deformity.
Our Occupational Therapist - Practitioner of Hand Therapy works closely with each patient to create personalized treatment plans, using a combination of splint fabrication, manual therapy, exercises, dry needling, wax baths and advanced techniques to support recovery and return to daily activities.

About Kate:
Kate is an experienced Occupational Therapy with 15 years experience in both public and private settings. She has worked extensively in fracture and tendon injury management and post-operative rehabilitation, as well as in the management of chronic pain.
Kate has a postgraduate certificate in clinical rehabilitation, has undertaken many Australian Hand Therapy Association Hand Therapy courses, in addition to extensive further education in upper limb assessment and treatment.
